"Coach Strausser was down at my school and he watched me work out," Forsyth told Dawgman.com. "He had already watched my (junior year) film, but he said he wanted to see me move around in person.
"He said he liked my flexibility in my hips and also my punch."
The offer from the Huskies joins the 19 other offers Forsyth had including ones from Michigan, Oregon, USC, Arizona, Arizona State and Utah among others.
"I'd say it puts them high up on my list," Forsyth said when asked where Washington stands. F
orsyth has been racking up the frequent flier miles over the past six weeks and he's planning a few more next month.
"I'm in Michigan right now and I'll be visiting Oregon, Oregon State and Washington at some point in June," Forsyth noted.
It's worth noting that Forsyth's visit to Seattle will be his second this spring as he took in a Husky Saturday practice in April.
"Oh man, I had a great time," Forsyth said after his first visit. "It was really interesting to see the approach the coaches take. "Coach (Chris) Petersen got up and talked about how it's not just about football, it's about your life after football as well. He really cares about his players and you can see that in the way he helps them prepare for their lives after football."
Forsyth also got a chance to check out the campus and the facilities and he met with offensive line coach Chris Strausser.
"The facilities there are amazing," Forsyth said. "They really take care of the players there and they have everything you can think of to help them become the best players they can be.
"When coach Strausser and I talked he said he sees some stuff he really likes in what I can do on the field, but he wants to form a better relationship with me before they talk about an offer and this was the first time we'd ever met or even really talked, so I'll just keep working on forming that relationship with him and them and see where things go."
Forsyth hopes to make his decision before his senior season, but he said he'll wait until after he takes his official visits if he isn't ready to decide.
