Height and Weight? - "Last time I checked a couple of days ago, I was 6'1" and 155 pounds.

What have you been up to this offseason? - "I ran track this spring. My PR in the 400 was a 49.04. I also focused on training for football -- footwork drills, lifting almost every day, ball drills, stuff like that."

How many offers did you have? - "I had seven offers."

Besides Washington, what other schools were after you really hard? - "The main ones were San Diego State, Kansas and Hawaii."

If not Washington, then what school would you have chosen? - "If not Washington, it would probably have been Kansas. Kansas or San Diego State, but probably Kansas."

Why did you choose Washington? - "It was the whole package -- the atmosphere, the weather, I love the rain, the area with the lake and all of the water and mountains, good football team, the facilities, coach Pete (Chris Petersen) and I was surrounded by great players and great people."

What did you enjoy about the recruiting process? - "The official visits. I took visits to Wyoming, Eastern Washington and Washington and I had a great time on all of them."

What did you hate about the recruiting process? - "Mostly when it got to the point where I was getting a ton of phone calls. It got really annoying, but nothing was really that bad to me."

Funny story/anecdote from the recruiting process? - "It's kinda embarrassing, but when I was going up to see Eastern on my official visit, I had a layover in Seattle. I got off of my first flight and I asked the attendant at the gate when my next was going to load, she said it would start loading in about 20 minutes, so I sat there, right next to the gate and I was watching the time, at 20 minutes they hadn't done anything, at 30 minutes, they still hadn't loaded or anything, I waited until it was like close to an hour and since we hadn't loaded or anything and I went up and asked when they were going to start and she said 'oh, that flight got moved to another gate. It's already gone.' I was like 'what?' so they had to get me on the next flight to Spokane which was like two hours later."

What are you going to miss when you enroll at UW? - "My mom's cooking for sure. I've been trying to learn from here and I'm pretty good, but no one compares to her when it comes to cooking."

Assuming you have talked with the UW staff, what have they said about where you'll play once you get to UW? - "They said they think I could play the same position that John Ross plays."

What kind of car do you drive? - "A 2008 Lexus. I actually had a different car, but my aunt had a longer drive and needed the better gas mileage, so she traded me cars."

What's your favorite movie? - "I love 'I am Legend' with Will Smith. Being all alone like that, but still holding it all down, I love it."

What's your favorite CD/music on your ipod right now? - "Mostly Drake. I love everything of his."

What's your favorite kind of food? - "I'd say probably Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo or my mom's Curry Chicken...that's amazing."
