Dawgman.com has been able to confirm that Porter Jr. committed to Washington earlier today.

Porter Jr.'s father, Michael Porter, joined the Husky coaching staff as an assistant after spending the last three years as an assistant with the Missouri Tigers' women's team where his two daughters play.

Porter Jr.'s younger brother, Jontay Porter, who also will play at Nathan Hale this fall, has already committed to Washington for the 2018 class.

The commitment of Porter Jr. is a coup for the Huskies as he's the number one ranked small forward in the 2017 class and is a top three player in the nation and a likely one-and-done player following the 2017-2018 season.

Porter Jr.'s commitment joins the ones Washington already had from the likes of Jaylen Nowell and Blake Harris.

Dawgman.com will have more on this breaking story once we reach Porter Jr. to get his thoughts on things.
