"It's an amazing setting and atmosphere," Jones told Dawgman.com. "It is so pretty up there and I mesh with the guys and the coaching staff pretty well.
"It felt like home."
"They're all really talented and hungry," Jones said. "They are cool guys and I can see myself getting better everyday with those guys around me."
Another bonus was getting a chance to work with receivers coach Bush Hamdan.
"We're are already past the recruiting process so we talk as if I'm already on the team," Jones noted. "We talked about the future and being 'built for life'. The future I can have off the field more than on it."
So, with his visit in the rear-view mirror, where do things stand with Jones and his commitment to Washington?
"It seems like the best fit for me so it's gonna be a tough deal to beat," Jones said. "I went out there alone but my mom is goint be there for my official visit. She was happy to see me excited about the place and she will support me 100%."
Jones, who totaled 53 receptions for 989 yards and 14 touchdowns, plans to graduate early so that he can take part in spring football.
