On perspective - “Remind them that, that was last year, this is the new year. Haven’t done anything. It’s about going out and preparing the best you can and put yourself in the best mindset with your preparation and come out and prove it. Last year is last year, it’s a totally different season.”

On depth at DB - “DB’s have great depth there. The guys that are returning, some guys that got some really valuable time last year. And these young kids coming in…you can say that about the d-line and the linebackers - the depth there is where we like it. It’s just a matter of our unknowns stepping up and seeing what they can do.”

On looking for pass rushers - “That’s…right now we’ve got Jojo (Mathis) and Psalm (Wooching) penciled in there, but it’s an open deal and these guys - all nine of those guys - are in the mix. The competition’s awesome.”
