On his mechanics and what he’s working on: “I have a quick release compared to all these other guys. I’m trying to work on bringing the ball up a little bit and keeping my base a little wider and just subtle movements in the pocket. That’s what I’ve been working on a lot.”

On facing the Husky secondary every day: “It’s fun; getting better because they’re the best so it’s only making us better.”

On if he gets frustrated going against the secondary: “At times, but not really. We know they’re good. It’s not a secret. Everybody knows they’re good.”

On his comfort level: “I’m very comfortable now. I fit in with all of the guys. I have a good relationship with a bunch of guys. John Ross was actually in my wedding back home in Stockton, California the day before camp.”
