Good to hit someone that’s not one your team? “It’s crazy. I love it. Everybody going out there flying around. First opportunity, it was a good one.”

On the first quarter “We had to come out, like you said, with a statement. Come out and let the other team from the jump that we’re not playing around. All this hype and stuff, it’s not just hype. It’s really us.”

Did they do anything you didn’t expect? “We were pretty dialed, pretty prepared. Watching a lot of tape and stuff, we saw a lot of stuff we thought we would get. We reacted to it well.”

On John Ross “That’s my guy. We used to be roommates. I’m so happy for him and everything that he has coming from him. That guy is a blessing and I’m glad blessings have come upon him today. It will continue to happen.”

Which was your favorite John Ross play today? “All of them. I’m just so happy that he came out here and gave the fans, gave the nation what they wanted. I told him before the game not to have too much pressure on him. I told him ‘if you can take me up top you better be able to take all the other dudes up top.’ I told him that. He went out there and got it done.”
