On a slow start “Yeah, but we preach on finishing, so hopefully we did just that.”

What happened to turn you guys around? “On the defensive side we just kept trying to make plays, taking it one play at a time. We had a great time on defense. Offense, same thing. They had a couple hiccups, but at the end of the day, they put a lot of points on the board.”

On the forced fumble on the opening kickoff  “I’m a F3 is what they call it, so I’m kind of like a safety, but I just kind of saw a hole so I just shot it and hit him.”

Is that one of the hardest hits you’ve had? “Yeah it was a pretty big hit. I didn’t even know he dropped the ball until I heard the whole crowd and saw one of our guys returned it.”

Is this another game that you just push through? “Yeah, I mean, we try to take it day by day. This was Idaho, game two. We worked on Idaho all week, don’t really look upon anyone else. Had a great game and we got the W.”

Was that hard to do? “Everything is hard. We preach film; watch as much film as you can on this team you’re playing. At the end of the day we’re two and zero. That’s what counts.”
