On the top 10 ranking “It feels good. I keep going, like I said, I keep going and get ready for PAC-12 play. Stanford, Oregon, we have to beat all of them. It doesn’t mean anything right now. At the ned of the season it means a lot though, being ranked high.”

How much has the program grown since you’ve been here? “A lot. We have more brother love with each other. We push each other, we encourage each other, we challenge each other just to be better everyday. More competition in the classroom, we’re more competitive towards that. Being better men. This program has grown and you can see on the field how it has grown because now we’re really playing Husky football.”

What’s the focus this week? “Get it done. Get a win. Make sure they don’t win. Keep the season going. That’s pretty much it. Do our jobs and get it done.”

On Deontae Cooper playing well at SJSU “Yeah Coop (Deontae Cooper). It’s crazy. I’m happy for him. He’s a big brother to me and a real good man. I’m happy he finally got the opportunity just to get his chance to play.”
