What’s the key for you when you’re out on the edge? “Usually my main objective is to make sure I keep containment and don’t let anyone get outside of me, so that’s usually what I try to do my best at.”

On holding the edge against a physical o-line  “Yeah. Their offensive is probably the best we’ve seen yet. They’re very good. They have a lot of good players on the offensive line and just their skill positions alone. It’s going to be tough, but that’s why we’re here and that’s why we do this. I think if we just keep playing the way we have been and keep doing our strategies with coach Kwiatkowski and coach Petersen we should have a good game.”

Do you remember facing Troy Williams in practice? “Yes we were at one point. He’s a great guy. A good dude. It will be fun to go against him.”

On Troy Williams “He’s just a heck of an athlete. He’s a great athlete and that’s why he’s there. That’s why he’s doing what he’s doing. We just have to do our best to make sure he doesn’t go off on us.”

On not being too big for the moment in a road start “Yeah. Just studying my tape, studying my plays and do my assignments. Not just me, but the 10 other guys also. If we all just do our job and assignments we should be good.”

Do you think Troy Williams will be more fired up playing his old team? “I’m not too sure what he’s doing. I’m haven’t really been talking to him. He’s doing his thing and we’re doing our thing; he’s preparing just like we are. Whatever his deal is, that’s his thing.”
