Elijah Molden (Brandon Huffman)

Molden to Washington

Things just keep rolling for Washington Recruiting. The Huskies picked up a verbal commitment from Elijah Molden, a 5-foot-10, 175-pound defensive back from West Linn, Oregon. Molden's father Alex played for Oregon.

Elijah Molden's commitment is the 14th for Washington's 2017 class. He joins Brandon McKinney and Keith Taylor as defensive backs under the future charge of UW Secondary Coach Jimmy Lake.

The news came just an hour before the No. 4 Huskies host the No. 20 USC Trojans at Husky Stadium.

Molden's commitment makes it two-for-two when it comes to the Huskies poaching the Beaver State for talent. With defensive lineman Marlon Tuipulotu's verbal commitment earlier in the year, Washington now has pledged from the top two prospects in Oregon.

We'll have more on this news as soon as we can reach Molden for comment.
