Official Visit Weekend Preview - 12/9 - 12/11

With the holiday/winter dead period less than 72 hours away, the Husky coaching staff will fit in three official visitors this weekend. Here's a look at who will be here and where things stand with each prospect...

Where Things Stand: Sarell has offers from every major program in the country, but most feel his decision will come down to Washington and Stanford. This week, the coaches from Stanford, USC and Washington all were in his home and he'll be visiting Montlake this weekend. The Huskies were one of the first schools to offer Sarell, back when he was a freshman, and the coaching staff has done everything they can to convince him to stay close to home. He will make his decision on January 7th when he's in San Antonio at the Army All-American Game and he's currently scheduled to visit Stanford the following week.

Where Things Stand: The Huskies already have a top-rated safety in the 2017 class (Brandon McKinney), but when you have a chance at a player like Ah You, you go all out to get him. Ah You has offers from pretty much every school in the Pac 12, but the one he's been waiting for, Stanford, could be very close to offering and they would have to considered a heavy favorite if that happens. That being said, Washington is right in the mix for his services along with BYU and UCLA. Wherever he winds up signing, Ah You plans to take his LDS mission, so he would be counted toward the 2019 class instead of the the upcoming one.

Where Things Stand: Taylor committed to Washington on Christmas Eve last year and hasn't wavered in his decision. He's long and athletic and rarely was tested as a senior for Servite this past season. This will be Taylor's fourth visit to Montlake in 18 months and he'll be a very nice fit in the Husky secondary once he arrives.
