BREAKING: Connor Wedington de-commits

Connor Wedington made a quick commitment as soon as Washington offered. That was right after signing day in February. On Friday, the 6-foot-1, 193-pound athlete from Sumner de-committed from the Huskies.

The Tacoma News Tribune’s 2016 All-Area Football Player of the Year made his decision public via Twitter.

Stanford has been by to visit Wedington recently. Wedington is rated as a four-star athlete by, ranked No. 66 in the country.

Wedington's decommitment means the Huskies, currently No. 1 in the Pac-12 for recruiting, only have 14 verbal commitments for the 2017 recruiting class.
