What do you consider when making a decision to declare for the draft or stay another year? “Just do what’s best for you at the end of the day. Whatever you feel is right, where your heart is. I will. I won’t make any decisions based off what I want in the moment, but what’s good in the future.”

Are you undecided about your next step? “Yeah, I wasn’t even thinking about that. I didn’t plan on losing this game. I planned on going back to Seattle with my team and getting ready for next week.”

Was there anything you didn’t expect from Alabama? “They play a lot of man, one on one. I didn’t get that. I got ‘cover two man,’ which we saw on film. They played it a lot this game, so I didn’t really think they would. I tip my hat to those guys. They did a good job.”

Did this year exceed expectations? “We expected nothing less than this. It was funny. I talked to Kevin (King). Our women’s basketball team went to the final four. They had a parade in front of our stadium. I told him this is going to be us in December. He said ‘I know.’ Just the way we were working, like I said I didn’t expect anything less. We made it. I’m really proud of my little brothers, big brothers, they did a good job man. I’m thankful still.”

On moving on from this game “You have to. You always have to move on regardless, even if it’s a win, unless it’s like a national championship I guess. Alabama, they have to move on tomorrow. They have to figure out who they play next week. You can’t hang your head as much as you want to. That’ll only put you in a slump. That will only hurt, make everything worse. Just rest up and get ready for next season.”
