How tough was that loss “It was tough. Just that being the last game of my collegiate career. That just hurts I guess.”

How tough was Alabama? “I mean, the offense wasn’t tough at all. You could see on the thing, we missed one tackle and they broke a good run. Our defense was stuffing them. It’s a team thing. Our other side needed a little help, but yeah.”

Were there missed tackles or do their backs run really hard? “It was some missed tackles. There were missed tackles. If they were running that hard they would have broken all the other tackles. We had a good drive. Yeah, we can’t be out there the whole game. We need a rest.”

On the chipiness of the game “A lot of talk. It was a really emotional game. This was to make it to the national championship. Both sides were getting antsy and chippy.”

Was there any chipiness leading up to the game or was this just the emotion of the game? “Just the emotion of the game. When you’re out there for that big of a championship to come, the emotions come out.”

What’s next for you? “I don’t know. I have no idea. I have two things that I’m kind of looking toward. We’ll see.”

Is it weird that college is over with? “Yeah. It’s crazy. Just five years putting in all that work and effort and then it’s done. It has to come to an end some time.”

Did you get to see Sark? “I tired to find him after the game. I don’t know if he was up in the press box or something. Wanted to show my gratitude, because if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be here.”

On his final game “It was good. I wouldn’t want to lose to anyone else but the best. It was good.”
