Washington junior defensive tackle Elijah Qualls parlayed a strong 2016 season, one that saw him earn First-Team All-Pac-12 honors, into a pro payday, as he was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles with the 214th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
At the 2017 NFL Combine, the 6-0.5, 313-pound defensive lineman put up 33 reps of 225 on the bench, ran a 5.13 40 (including a 1.74 10), 4.66 20-yard shuttle, 7.65 L-cone shuttle, 31.5 inches in the vertical jump and 8-9 in the standing broad jump.
Qualls had 19 starts in his 39 games played as a Husky. He finished his four-year UW career with 78 tackles, including 12.5 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks. He was part of a three-man defensive front with Vita Vea and Greg Gaines that helped Washington's defenss lead the Pac-12 in scoring defense and total defense the past two seasons.
