Jason Benn Update

O'Dea's Jason Benn is enjoying life as a two-way performer for the undefeated Fighting Irish, and the 6'4", 240-pound TE/DE prospect has also been watching closely another undefeated team; the Washington Huskies. It helps that his big brother, Kyle, is the starting center for the Dawgs, but it also helps that Jason has a ride of his own if he chooses to accept it, and that makes life good around the Benn household nowadays.

"I still get excited watching the guys go on the field," Benn told Dawgman.com. Jason has been to both the Michigan and Idaho games, and plans on being to more during the season.

With offers from the Huskies and Idaho right now, Jason is looking towards earning more offers. Who has been recruiting him for UW? "I talk to Coach Heater," said Benn. "He said that he's going to come watch me play."

The biggest news right now is that Jason is starting to look to the midwest when setting up his official visits. Coming from O'Dea, it's not too surprising that Benn is looking towards South Bend, Indiana and Notre Dame for one of his trips. The other one right now will be with Washington.

"They tell me to get through the season first, and then they want to talk to me about a visit," Jason said when referring to his talks with the Notre Dame coaches. We will get an update later from Benn to find out more about his season and his visits.
