"I've had some school visits with some coaches. They came to my school. Arizona, Washington, Stanford, UCLA, and Gonzaga all stopped by," said Brockman.
"They are all very different, and all of them let me know about their schools. UCLA and UW have offered scholarships."
Brockman is well versed in the recruiting, as his sister Heather went through the process. She wound up at Washington, but Brockman is still far from making any decisions like that.
"I'm going to visit UCLA on the 14th, but that's the only one I've set up so far," said Brockman.
"I have my options open right now. I haven't narrowed anything down but I'll start doing that in the summer."
While he is open, two schools in particular have the heat already cranked on high for Brockman's services. "UCLA and UW are recruiting the hardest of all so far. The UW coaches told me that they'd like me to go to their school, and so did coach Howland (UCLA)."
Jon will have a busy schedule this summer. "I'll be doing a lot of stuff with Friends of Hoop, and I'm going to France on June 5th with the USA Nike team. There are three juniors and seven seniors on that team. I'm really excited about this, it's going to be really fun."
