Potasi Down to Two

Alex Potasi was one of three Narbonne players who received a visit at school yesterday from Husky Linebackers Coach Tom Williams. Coach Williams watched Potasi, running back Marcus O'Keith and safety Dashon Goldson go through a spirited practice as Narbonne prepares for a weekend throw-down against San Fernando.

"It was pretty good," Potasi told Dawgman.com last night about Williams' visit. "Coach Williams saw us at school. He told us that he wanted us to visit. He was pretty excited about it."

Alex has two official visits set up right now, one to UCLA on January 11th and one to Washington on December 7th. Potasi will be accompanied by his parents on his trip to Seattle, as well as Goldson, O'Keith and their parents.

Football is important to Potasi, but it's not the only thing he'll be checking out when he takes his visits. "I want to check out how the school is first, then football," he said. "I'll decide after I take my UCLA trip."

Here are Alex's quick takes on his two leaders.

Washington - "To be honest, it's because they kept calling me. They've shown me the most interest all along."

UCLA - "It's close to home."

Potasi mentioned that he may also take a visit to Arizona, but hasn't set up an official date yet.
