Stanback Back from Tinseltown

Isaiah Stanback, a 6-3, 200-pound quarterback from Garfield High School in Seattle, Washington just returned from his official visit to USC, and Stanback had a nice time in Los Angeles. Was it enough to overtake the Huskies?

"It was a good trip, I had a lot of fun," Stanback told Dawgman.com this afternoon. "There were a lot of cars and famous people." His host was Keary Colbert. "And the next day I had another dude," he said. "I think he was Pac-10 special teams player of the year, but I couldn't remember his name."

The highlight of Isaiah's visit was checking out a place he's knows he'll be visiting, even if he doesn't go to USC. "I'd say just going to the coliseum," said Stanback. "That stadium is nice."

The Trojan coaches didn't pressure him to making a decision. "I told them that I had a good time and that I would be making a decision in the next week or two," he said. "I need to talk to my Mom and my sister, my family, basically. And I'll be talking to the coaches to find out more about the quarterbacking situations."

With the Huskies and Trojans going tooth and nail for the talented signal-caller, is he ready to announce a leader? Not yet," he said "Everything is so heated right now, I couldn't tell you who is a leader at this point."
