"It was a lot of fun," Jonathan told Dawgman.com tonight of his trip to BYU this past weekend. "I've been there before a lot of times, but I got a chance to see my cousin, C.J. Ah You and talk to him so that was nice."
Mapu has one more visit to take, to Tennessee, this Thursday. "I'm going to Tennessee because they
have a great program," he said. "I want to check them out."
Jonathan and his family had in-home visits from BYU and Washington today. "Coach Williams,
Malloe and Neuheisel all came to my house today," said Mapu. "The visit went really well and my
parents really like the Washington coaches. The coaches seemed really interested in me. We talked
Included in 'everything' was the eventual mormon mission Jonathan plans on taking. "I will be
taking my mission after my first year in school," he said. "All the coaches I've talked to have been
fine. They have no problem with that."
And a timetable for his decision? "I think I'll make my decision right after my Tennessee trip," he
said. "I'll sit down with my family and coaches and then make my decision."
