James in limbo, awaits visit

Kenny James is a 5-11, 205-pound running back from Dos Palos, California, and for a couple of weeks it has seemed like Kenny has been of the verge of making a final decision - would he attend the University of Washington or Fresno State University?

"As of right now I don't know," Kenny told Dawgman.com today about taking other visits. "There's a possibility I could take one to either Arizona or Oregon. I'm just relaxing right now, taking care of schoolwork. My last visit was to Fresno. Ever since then I've just been relaxing."

James was taking in the St. Louis-Green Bay game when we reached him. "I've been watching Marshall Faulk doing his thing," James said. "It's gets me going. I feel like going outside and playing right now. I miss it a lot."

When Kenny has the urge to 'take it outside', he's got someone to play with. "I have a 13-year old brother," James said. "I'll take him outside and school him, but my brother Marcus seems like he's going to be a pretty good player when he gets to high school. Hopefully we can be at the same level football-wise. But right now I'm the better football player."

Is James any closer than he was a couple of weeks ago, when a formal announcement seemed iminent? "I've sat down and thought about it and am still unsure as to where I want to go," he said. "I just want to relax, take that last visit and after the last visit, sit down, continue to think about it and hopefully things will go good from there."

Kenny will have a visitor this coming week that certainly will have plenty to say about James' immediate future. "I have a visit with Coach Neuheisel tomorrow and hopefully that goes good," he said.
