Trip Report - Roburt Sallie spoke with Washington commit Roburt Sallie earlier this week about his recent trip to Washington. The 6-foot-6 guard took in the Huskies games against Stanford on Sunday and spent the rest of his time seeing the University and Seattle.

Sallie came away from Sunday's game with some great impressions.

"Right when I first walked in the arena, it blew me away," said Roburt. "But what really blew me away was when I saw the fans running in so early for the game, it was something I had never really seen".

This was Roburt's first time visiting Seattle and he enjoyed the city. He was greeted by Coach Romar, who showed him around.

"Everything just fit in perfectly". Sallie said of his tour of Seattle with Washington's head coach.

During his visit Romar talked to Roburt about his game, including comparisons to one current Husky - Tre Simmons.

"Everybody's been saying that our games are similar," said Sallie.

Romar and Sallie also discussed an area of improvement for Roburt.

"Coach Shaw and Coach Romar both pointed out my weight and that's something I'm motivated by right now".

Sallie says that he's about 172 right now but plans to be 185 by the time he comes to UW next year.

In looking towards next year Roburt got the opportunity to talk to some of his future teammates. Fellow signees Martell Webster, Jon Brockman and Harvey Perry were at the game.

Roburt was definitely excited about getting to play with the team next year.

"It's gonna be crazy next year," said Sallie about the future, but he has high expectations for this year's team too. "I wouldn't be surprised if the team went to the Final Four".

Despite all the excitement from his trip, Roburt has a season of his own right now. Sallie has been averaging 15 points per game for Laurinburg Prep in North Carolina. Laurinburg has 14 Division One players currently on roster and is ranked #1 in the nation for prep schools with an 18-0 record.
