Kezirian enjoying time off

Robin Kezirian is a 6-4, 275-pound offensive lineman from Fresno (Calif.) Central, and right now the Washington verbal commit is doing something he's been waiting to do for a long time now that his high school football season is complete - absolutely nothing.

"I'm not doing a thing right now," Robin told last night. "No coaches are calling me anymore, no coaches are visiting. It's great."

Well, that's not entirely true. Robin has been hearing from the Washington coaches, but it's not like it was when the recruiting process was in full swing. "The coaches called and let me know what to expect on signing day," Robin said. "Just the regular things, like don't fax your letter in until after 8 in the morning, making copies, things like that."

But other than that, Robin has really been taking it easy. "I'm not playing any sports right now," he said. "But I've been working out a lot. Running, lifting, conditioning...that sort of stuff. It's all football-related stuff."

With all the tumalt surrounding the Huskies' recruiting efforts lately, this should come as a welcome thought for Husky fans. "I just want to let everybody know that I can't wait to be a Husky," Robin said. "I'm really looking forward to it." Top Stories
