Page finishing process

Jarrad Page is a 6-0, 180-pound defensive back from San Leandro, California, and Page has been doing his part to become better informed about where he'll go to college next year. This week Jarrad and his family are listening to four schools - Oregon State, Oregon, UCLA and Washington. One of those teams will earn a letter of intent from Page, one of the top defensive backs on the West Coast.

"It was good," Page told Dawgman.com tonight about his trip last weekend to Eugene. "The players were nice. It felt like home a little bit, because a lot of the players were from Sacramento or the Bay Area. They've definitely moved up right now. I'd say they are second (behind UCLA)." Washington is now Jarrad's third team.

Before it was assumed that Page wasn't too interested in the Ducks because of his wish to play both football and baseball in college. Oregon may have found a solution to his issue. "Well, they don't have a team, but they've been talking to me about playing on a team up there," he said. "The team isn't affiliated with the school. It's more like a semi-pro team."

And while Page has a top-three, he is still entertaining coaches, and offers. "I'm not sure who I am going to pick, but I am going to decide by next week," he said. Page has already been visited by OSU on Monday and is talking to both Oregon and UCLA today. The Washington Huskies are coming in tomorrow night with three coaches - Tim Hundley, Bobby Hauck and Rick Neuheisel. We'll have more tomorrow night on Jarrad's visit.
