Hawaiian DE Commits to UW

Daniel Te'o Nesheim is a 6-2, 240-pound defensive end from Kamuela (Hawaii) Hawaii Prep Academy, and Nesheim verbally committed to Washington Monday after a visit with UW Head Coach Tyrone Willingham.

"I verbally committed over there," Nesheim told Dawgman.com Tuesday, literally minutes before he was to play in a basketball game. "I gave Coach Willingham my verbal commitment. He was really happy."

Daniel's parents support his decision to move to the mainland. "They told me that they would support whatever I would do, and this felt like the right thing to do," he said. Nesheim just returned from an official visit to Seattle Sunday night.

He has an official visit set up to Colorado this coming weekend, will Nesheim take it? "I don't think so right now, but I don't know," he said. "I really don't like making a decision and then changing it."
