Trip Report - Morgan Rosborough

Long Beach (Calif.) Jordan OL Morgan Rosborough visited Washington this past weekend and made no bones about his interest in the Huskies and where he could see himself playing in college. He still has a couple of visits to take, but things are looking good for UW

"It was a very informative and very interesting. I liked it a lot for my first trip," Rosborough told Sunday.

Jovon O'Connor was Morgan's official host. "He was really funny, real outgoing," Rosborough said of O'Connor.

So of all the things he did and saw on his official visit, what made the biggest impression on Morgan? "The weather," he said. "It can't make up it's mind on what it wants to do. It didn't bother me."

What did Rosborough do on his visit? "I met with the head coach (Tyrone Willingham). He just wants to know about me and he told me some stuff about him. I think he's a down-to-earth guy. He's expecting big things from the program next year and I like that."

He also talked briefly with OL coach Mike Denbrock. "I think we get along really good," said Rosborough.

Morgan added that he thought a scholarship offer might be coming, but the UW coaches didn't pull the trigger this weekend. "They said they are going to come visit me on Wednesday and we're going to talk about it," he said.

Morgan also gave his thoughts on a couple of other visitors. Johnny DuRocher? "He was a good guy," Rosborough said. "He already committed. He said he liked it way better than when he was down at Oregon."

J.R. Hasty? "He was cool. I think he wanted to go home and compare all his visits. I don't know what his decision will be."

Rosborough will visit Arizona State and Oregon State soon, but doesn't have any dates set. When asked what school he would pick if he had to today? Washington.
