USC's big weapon against the Dawgs back in January was guard Aisha Hollans, who went off for 26 points and made all seven of her free-throw attempts. Trojan Center Ebony Hoffman added 10 points, two blocked shots, and seven boards to also give the Huskies trouble. Shooting guard Tiffany Elmore was errant from the field against Washington, connecting on just five of 14 last game. She'll hope that the friendly confines of home will cure her shooting eye.
Washington's tip off with UCLA is Sunday morning at 11AM in Pauley Pavilion, and will be televised by Fox Sports Net. The Bruins are 5-14 on the season, 2-9 in the conference. This is a game the Huskies will be expected to win.
Currently Washington sits alone in sixth place in the Pac-10, but the race is so close that they are just one game out of second place. A sweep on the road would be an incredible boost as the Huskies head toward the end of conference play and gear up for the post-season.
Loree Payne continues to lead the Huskies in scoring, pouring in 13.7 points per game. Washington is the second highest scoring team in the conference, averaging just over 74 points per contest.
