This was not one of Roburt's better games of the season but he still tickled the box score with nine points, three assists, four rebounds and two blocked shots. Sallie displayed his versatility, playing both the SG and SF positions. His man to man defense was excellent.
On the season, Roburt is averaging almost 12 points per game, seven rebounds, and four assists. Laurinburg coach Tim Thomas says Roburt has a high basketball IQ. He runs the court extremely well and has a nose for the ball especially on the offensive end of the court. All Roburt needs to do is add some weight to help him withstand the rigors of a Pac-10 schedule.
Sallie's classroom work is coming along as well. He is taking his SAT again on March 12th. Roburt contends he will be fully qualified and be ready to enroll at Washington this fall.
Laurinburg's season comes to a close on February 25th as one of twelve teams to appear in the Champion's Classic at Appalachian State.
