Lee ran a 4.5 40, a 4.2 shuttle, jumped 29 inches in the vertical leap and had a remarkable 32 reps of 185 pounds on the bench. His bench mark only tells half the story.
"Well, I would have done better, but I was at 27 the first time before a weight fell off, so I had to do it again," Martin told Dawgman.com. "I gave myself ten minutes to
recover a little bit."
Martin started out working with the running backs, then moved to his more natural position, linebacker, later on. "I felt like I stacked up against the other linebackers pretty
well," he said.
Any drill he'll take back home with him to work on? "I'd say the ladder drills," said Martin. "The coach encouraged me to take it one step further. He said that if you go
just one extra centimeter every step you take you'll be hundreds of feet past people in a while."
Lee has a solid list of schools that are paying him some serious attention. "I like Oregon, Stanford, USC, Washington, Alabama, Colorado," he said. "I've been talking to
Colorado a lot."
