"I didn't make a commitment…yet," Jefferson said coyly. "I really, really enjoyed my visit to U-Dub. It was lovely. I got to meet all of the coaches and coach (Tyrone) Willingham. He's an intense guy, but he's straightforward and he's a guy I feel like I can talk to person to person.
Stanley Daniels was Jefferson's host on his visit and the two bonded pretty well and Daniels told him that the offensive line is ready to get it going.
"I had talked to (Daniels) a couple times on the phone, but this was my first time meeting him," Jefferson said. "He showed me around and said the offensive line is good friends and that they are ready to do some things next year. I was really impressed with them all."
Jefferson said the highlight of his visit was when he was able to walk out the tunnel to Husky Stadium.
"I loved walking by all of the Rose Bowl plaques and seeing all of the history of the program right there," Jefferson said. "The stadium is huge and I loved the view and stuff. It was really awe-inspiring."
So, now that he's taken in his visit to Washington is he going to take any more official visits?
"I'm not sure about that right now," Jefferson said. "Washington is my leader by far right now. I don't like them more just because I haven't taken other visits. I just really like the area. You can just come in and get to work and win a championship."
Jefferson said he and "several other guys" are really close to making a decision and that he could make a decision very soon.
