Trip report: Rodney Glass

Playmakers are at a premium this year, but Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks, Ca.) ATH Rodney Glass is one of the fastest players on the west coast and he took in a visit to Montlake this past weekend. was finally able to corral the ever-elusive Glass on Monday evening and he spoke about his visit and how far away he is from making a decision.

"I had a good time up there, it was a fun experience," Glass said noting that his visit with head coach Tyrone Willingham was the highlight of his trip.

"Coach Willingham was probably the most (impressive thing). He was a lot different when I went up there. He had a lot of different things we talked about school and just life in general."

Glass said this was his first trip to the Emerald City and even though the weather was far from ideal, it didn't dampen his spirits.

"I expected a little bit more rain, but it was real nice up there compared to what people usually say about the rain and stuff," Glass said with a laugh.

During his visit, Glass was hosted by RB J.R. Hasty and the two attended the WashingtonWashington State basketball game. Glass was impressed by the fans in the "Dawg Pack".

"Washington fans are nuts. They are really intense," Glass said emphatically.

So with his Washington trip out of the way, what is next for the playmaker from southern California?

"I'm taking a trip to UNLV (January 13th) and Arizona State (January 20th) and possibly another one, but that's open right now," Glass said. "I'd definitely say that (Washington) is ahead of the other schools right now, because I've visited the campus and seen how things are up there, but I still have to take the rest of my trips before I make a decision."

Glass plans to make a decision soon after he concludes his visit to the Sun Devils.
