Up to this point, Tramp was known in Seattle-area prep football circles as the long-standing coach at Lake Washington High School, but has since moved on to Arlington. He is extremely excited to be heading up the Eagles' program, and talked to Scout.com about two players for the 2008 class - Travis Doggett and Brandon Gunter - that could end up being top D1-A prospects down the road.
We also spoke with Tramp about one of his former players, Lake Washington tight end Chris Izbicki. Izbicki, who is verbally committed to Washington for the 2007 class, is rated by Scout.com as the 3rd-best TE in the country, and Tramp gives plenty of insight as to why he believes Izbicki will be an impact player for the Huskies.
