Top High School games to watch this fall

The high school season is almost here and it's time to start blocking out those Friday nights to see the best talent the State of Washington has to offer. Here's a primer to help guide the way.

Date Home - Away Notes:

9-13 Kentwood - Kentridge. Tahj (Bomar) and Co. look to start their title defense by shutting down Joey Henley.

9-20 Kamiak - Edmonds-Woodway. For Kamiak to live up to their expectations they must get by the two headed monster of (Kyle) Trew and (Casey) Tyler.

9-27 Ballard - Woodinville. Another Tui (Matt) under center should cause problems for Ballard and their junior duo of (JT) Diederichs and (Keauntea) Bankhead.

10-4* Skyline - Bellevue. These two dueled it out in the T-dome last year and the rivalry has never been more fierce. Battle of the bigs, (Brett) Thielke vs. (Jeff) Dicks.

10-4* Jackson - Kamiak. Another great head-to-head match up in (Craig) Chambers vs. (Derrick) Bradley. Hopefully this is the last time they ever suit up against each other.

10-11 Capital - Lincoln. Jordan Carey will be tested by Ben Shelton and his arsenal of receivers.

10-18 O'Dea - Eastside Catholic. Keandre Magee looks to break more records for the Irish.

10-25 Franklin Pierce - Lakes. The "Lakes Show" does not face much competition but their talent is worth seeing at least once.

11-1 West Valley - Prosser. Prosser should be in dominant form by November as long as they follow the big bodies of Dan Gore and Matt Pinson.

11-6 Bethel - Federal Way. (Johnny) Durocher and (David) Lewis will be a tough twosome to stop, but Federal Way will counter with their combo of (Andre) Jordan and (Anthony) Dotson.

*take your pick here, both of these games will be incredible. Get there early! Top Stories
