Pollak set on four

Chandler (Ariz.) Corona del Sol's Mike Pollak is in his second week of two-a-days, and while he's focusing on being the anchor of a dominant run-blocking offensive line and crossing his fingers about his squad staying injury-free, his recruiting picture must seem refreshingly simple.

At 6-5, 275, Pollak is highly regarded for his footwork and remarkable quickness (4.8). And while Pollak hasn't set up any visit dates, he seems fairly set upon taking trips to each of his top four schools: Arizona State, Oregon, Vanderbilt, and Washington.

Here's what Pollak had to say about some of his favorites:

On Vanderbilt: "They have a really good academic program and it's a really good school to get in to. They're not known for their football, so that's the only thing that sort of turns me away from them."

On Oregon: "It's a good school to go to and they've had a good football program for the past couple of years."

On Washington: "They're going to be good in football this year, and I was talking to Neuheisel when he called and he just seems like a really nice coach."

Most recently, Pollak's been hearing from Coach Axman from the University of Washington. He has offers from his top-4, as well as Arizona and Cal.
