Birmingham ATH has three in mind

Chad Green is a 5-11, 175-pound receiver/cornerback prospect from Van Nuys (Calif.) Birmingham and Chad is ready to get his senior season underway. Green has five offers from Division-1 schools, but three are standing out, and while he's not close to making an official decision he has an idea of where he wants to take official visits to.

"We had a scrimmge on Friday, it went well," Green told "The pads were poppin'. I'm really looking forward to September 13th when we play Notre Dame."

Chad's phone was ringing a little more than normal on September 1st. "I got a few calls," he said. "Coach Greatwood from Oregon, a coach from Cal, and Coach Camp from Arizona called. I knew they were going to call though. I wasn't caught off guard. The most I've been hearing from Washington, Nebraska and LSU, but I'm also hearing a lot from schools like Oregon and Oregon State."

Right now, Green has standing offers from LSU, Cal, Washington, Oregon State, Arizona and Washington State. "I'm really interested in schools like the University of Washington, Nebraska and LSU," Chad said. "Other than that, no real favorites. For sure I know I'm going to visit LSU and Nebraska as of now. Those are the only two as of now. I'm pretty open for the rest of my visits." Top Stories
