Ellis looking to stay on West Coast?

Sedric Ellis is a 6-2, 250-pound defensive lineman from Chino, California, and is the 9th ranked DT by TheInsiders.com. With offers from coast to coast, Sed isn't in a hurry to line up trips or make a decision at this point. But he is talking about staying around the West Coast. Will that theme stick by signing day?

"Mostly just strength and speed combined," Ellis told Dawgman.com about his game. I like defending the run better, but I'm good at both. Coaches say they like how I never quit on a play."

Football was immediately attractive to Sed growing up. "It's like the only sport where you can hit people and you can get in trouble for it," he said. I like that." With a 4.75 40, 370-pound bench, 510-pound squat and 280-pound incline to his credit, it's no wonder he likes running around and making plays. When describing his demeanor on the gridiron, it only takes Ellis one word to get the point across.

"Mean."

UCLA, USC, Oregon, Washington and Colorado came calling on September 1st and Ellis has offers from all of those schools, as well as Miami and LSU. Sed favors staying on the West Coast right now, but does not any favorites in particular.
