Prep roundup - week 6

Some of the names you've seen before, some you haven't. This weekend's roundup includes notes by Ron Siegel on two games he saw this weekend and of course the state's top prep performers. Did the Jackson Timberwolves get on the winning track? And how did one of the state's up and coming junior studs fare against Arlington on Thursday? Read on...

Ron Siegel - In a battle between two 2-3 teams the Inglemoor Vikings, led by Blake Pritchett's nearly 170 yards rushing, beat the Arlington Eagles 33-20 on Thursday night. Viking QB Steve Campbell, a 6-3, 170-pound sophomore had a 59-yard pass to Peter Deelstra. Junior Jordan White-Frisbee (6-7, 295) played both ways. He lines up as a tight end but really is a sixth lineman. He did catch a key pass to keep a drive going. He moves very well for his size.

Friday night the Jackson Timberwolves got their offense going against the Shorecrest Scots. Led by TB CJ Marsh's 178 yards rushing on 15 carries, including a 75-yard TD run in the first quarter. WR Craig Chambers (6-5, 195, SR) had 82 yards in receptions. QB Jason Morris (5-10, 165, SR) was 7-9 passing for 134 yards and kept the Scots at bay with 40 yards rushing.
