Kicker still splitting uprights

Michael Braunstein is a 5-9, 175-pound kicker from Gilbert, Arizona, and Michael continues to do what he does best - pound the ball through the uprights. He unofficially visited Washington when the Huskies took on the Wyoming Cowboys, and looks to set up another go-around with the Dawgs, this time officially.

"I'm 6-7 on field goals," Braunstein told Thursday night. "I've missed the end zone once on kickoffs. My punting average is 42 yards per kick." Gilbert plays their rival game this Friday against Mesquite.

Contact has been steady, with Washington, Nebraska, Auburn and Stanford leading the pack. "I will probably visit Washington again," Michael said. "Other than that, I'm not sure yet."
