Dissly gets offer from Dawgs

Nick Dissly is a 6-4, 200-pound athlete from Bozeman, Montana, and right now Dizzly and the Hawks are getting ready to play Helena High in the next round. Nick has been doing his part to make sure Bozeman achieves their goals this season, and as a result, colleges are taking notice.

Dissly has 61 catches for 1032 yards and 12 touchdowns through 9 games. "I also have an interception I returned 40 yards for a touchdown," he told Dawgman.com last night. "I'm just finding ways to get in the end zone better, running better routes. When you play varsity for four years there are things that you just get better at over time."

Washington, Oregon State, Wyoming, Montana State and Montana have all stepped up to offer Nick a scholarship to play football at the next level. "I'm being recruited mostly as a receiver, maybe some as a slot back," he said. "Some schools say they aren't sure where they want me to play but that I'm big and fast and they like that." Nick runs a 40 in the 4.5-4.6 range.

Bobby Hauck is the coach for Washington recruiting Dissly, but Rick Neuheisel extended the offer. "He called and offered and said he'd like to wrap me up because nobody else knows about me yet," Nick said. All of the above schools have been contacting Nick regularly, as has California.

He doesn't have official trips set up yet, but will take a trip to Washington and also one to Oregon State. "I like Washington a lot right now," Dissly said. "I like Seattle." He's already fully qualified but is retaking the SAT in November to improve his score.
