Bradley to take trips?

Dawgman.com spoke tonight with Derrick Bradley, a 5-9, 175-pound athlete from Mukilteo (Wash.) Kamiak about the speculation fueled by rumors that the Washington commit just might be taking official visits. Is he interested in taking one trip, multiple trips, or none at all?

"I'm thinking about taking a trip, just one trip," Bradley said. "But I'm not really sure. I haven't made up my mind." Derrick made a verbal commitment to Rick Neuheisel and the Washington Huskies over a month ago, and got the go-ahead from the Husky Head Coach to take one official visit if that's what he wanted to do.

"It's like a free trip," Derrick said. "I'd just like to see what else is out there." On the question of particulars (where, when, etc...), Bradley is completely wide open. "I don't know where I'll visit. There's a bunch of them. Washington State, Oregon, Arizona State, Colorado. Me and my Mom are talking about it." His Mother Brenda will accompany him on any visit he decides to set up.

Ironically enough, when asked if this meant he was rethinking his commitment to Washington, Derrick was clear. "It doesn't affect it at all."

Bradley and his Kamiak teammates are getting ready to play Everett in their final Wesco game of the year this coming Thursday. Derrick had 199 yards rushing and returned a fumble 81 yards for a score in the Knights' last game, a 21-14 win over Mariner.
