Brockman Collects Awards at Hoop Banquet

SEATTLE - Junior Jon Brockman collected four team awards, including his second straight KJR Radio Most Valuable Player trophy, at the annual Washington men's basketball banquet that was held Wednesday night in the Don James Center on the UW campus.

Brockman (Snohomish, Wash./Snohomish) was a first-team all-district selection and a second-team All Pac-10 pick. The 6-7 forward averaged 11.6 rebounds per game to lead all Pac-10 players for the second straight season. Brockman was also a repeat conference leader in double-doubles with 23.

He scored at a 17.8-point clip, topping the team and ranking No. 6 among Pac-10 players. Brockman was the league's 10th most accurate shooter with a team-leading 53.6-percent figure.
