Locke QB still hearing from Huskies

Marcus Johnson is a 6-4, 207-pound quarterback prospect from Los Angeles (Calif.) Locke, and his senior season just hasn't come together quite like he wanted it to, but that's not stopping him from trying his hardest. You see, there's a lot on the line for Johnson, and he knows it. How he plays in the final games of his season just could spell the difference between getting the scholarship offers he wants or not getting them.

"We're just not coming together as a team," Marcus told Dawgman.com. "But we did beat Dorsey in our first league game. It's always nice to beat the defending city champs." Johnson has thrown for 1500 yards so far this year, with 10 touchdowns. He's also run for roughly 200 yards.

On the recruiting trail, Johnson said that, "Things are coming along smooth. I'm getting close to setting up my visits." He doesn't have any offers yet, but is hearing a lot from Washington, Kansas and Fresno State. He's hoping to be able to visit all of his favorites in December.

Husky Receivers Coach Bobby Kennedy is the coach recruiting Johnson for Washington. They are recruiting him as a QB.
