Henley visits Oregon State

Joey Henley is a 6-4, 210-pound athlete from Kent (Wash.) Kentridge, and Henley took an official visit to Oregon State this past weekend and then was offered a full scholarship from another school that following Monday. It looks like things are picking up for the two-sport star.

"We got there and I talked to the coaches and got to know them. Then we ate dinner and talked more with the coaches. They are looking at me at D-end, saying that they'll put some size on me. Then we left with our hosts," Henley said of his visit to Corvallis this past weekend. His host was QB Anton Clarkson.
"They told me that they would call me back the first week of January. They are still evaluating me and they'll know where I fit in. When I got back on Monday, the Idaho State coach came in and he offered me a full ride."

And the hometown Huskies? "They are still evaluating me," Henley said. "Coach (Randy) Hart was at my basketball game yesterday."
