Sibert a name to watch

Ben Sibert is a 6-4, 245-pound lineman from Highlands Ranch, Colorado, and Sibert is an All-State and All-League performer both offensively and defensively. With 10 sacks and 45 solo tackles for the Falcons, Ben is now looking for the offers to tumble on in. And there are some schools that are looking his way - including the Washington Huskies.

"I won an award we have at school called the 'Iron Man'," Sibert told Dawgman.com. "I'm an aggressive player. I have very good vision on defense. I'll play wherever coaches want me to play." He runs a 4.8 40, benches 305 pounds and squats 455 pounds.

As a team captain, Ben has his own way of getting his team going. "I like to lead by example, but if I need to put 'em in line, I'll do that too," he said.

Kansas and Washington have been in touch with Sibert the most lately. "I went to the Kansas State/Nebraska game unofficially," he said. "Colorado State is starting to come on strong too." He doesn't have any official visits set up yet, but he did have an in-home visit with Husky secondary coach Bobby Hauck last week. "The Kansas coaches told me to keep a spot open in January for a visit," said Sibert. "I'm wide open and have no preferences right now."
