Cisneros and Huskies part ways

A local offensive line prospect that got an offer from Tyrone Willingham's staff is no longer a Washington commit. Sumner OL Grant Cisneros has begun the process of getting his name back on the radars of several programs after talking with the Husky coaching staff this past week.

"I was real excited to be a Husky, but after talking to the coaches I don't have a scholarship anymore," Cisneros told Dawgman.com on Tuesday night. "Basically what they told me was that they are starting from ground zero and are re-evaluating things, so they want to check out my film again and then if they like what they see I might get an offer from them.

"It's frustrating for me because I was looking forward to staying home and playing for them, but now I need to make sure schools know I'm back out there and looking to hook up with someone else."

Cisneros said he plans to be in contact with schools like Portland State, Eastern Washington, Idaho, Boise State among others to make sure they get his highlight DVD.

"I'm not really sure what I'm going to do right now," Cisneros said. "I guess this is just like the corporate world, but it's kinda frustrating seeing how things like this work especially when it happens like it did."
