Paepule to visit Washington

The season's definitely changing for Honolulu (Hawaii) St. Louis' Timo Paepule. The 6'0", 200-pound linebacker has wrapped up his ILH football career, and now finds himself making elbow room in the paint as a small forward for St. Louis' basketball squad. Even so, there's one part of his football season that has yet to reach its logical conclusion.

Husky receivers coach Bobby Kennedy visited Paepule just recently. "We mostly talked about how my season went, but we talked about visits too," Timo told Dawgman.com. Paepule and Kennedy agreed upon a mid-January weekend trip, but have yet to firm up an exact date.

So how do the Huskies envision Paepule fitting into their defensive plans? "They like me as a safety," he said. "They like my quickness, how I pursue, and my tackling."

Timo has offers from the Huskies, Oregon, and his hometown Rainbow Warriors.
