Roderick to Round out Sarkisian's Staff learned Thursday that Utah Receivers Coach Aaron Roderick has been hired for the same position at the University of Washington, finalizing first-year head coach Steve Sarkisian's staff.

Here's the anticipated roster breakdown:
Head Coach - Steve Sarkisian
Offensive Coordinator/Offensive Line Coach - Jim Michalczik
Quarterbacks/Passing Game Coordinator - Doug Nussmeier
Running Backs - Joel Thomas
Wide Receivers/Tight Ends - Aaron Roderick

Defensive Coordinator/Assistant Head Coach - Nick Holt
Defensive Line/Special Teams - Johnny Nansen
Linebackers - Mike Cox
Cornerbacks - Demetrice Martin
Safeties - Jeff Mills
Defensive Graduate Torrey Myers, who held the same position under Tyrone Willingham, will stay on. It's unclear who will fill the other Graduate Assistant position at this time, and whoever fills that role may also be in charge of tight ends, depending on how responsibilities are divided.

Roderick was part of a staff that helped lead the Utes to a No. 2 ranking in the AP final rankings. During the past four seasons under Roderick, five Ute receivers have caught at least 20 passes, and the 2005 and 2007 teams featured a pair of receivers with 50-plus catches. 2008 saw four Utes with at least 30 catches each, led by Freddie Brown, who had 77 grabs for 900 yards.

Roderick played his college football at Snow College and then at BYU, where he was an Academic All-Conference selection. Before his stint at Utah, he was the Offensive Coordinator, Quarterbacks Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Southern Utah.

According to the school on Thursday, Sarkisian officially announced the hiring of Cox, Mills, Nussmeier and Thomas, as well as Dennis Slutak, has been hired as assistant athletic director for football operations.
