Andrews sticks with the Beavers

Thursday was not a good day on the recruiting front for the Huskies. Three of the four expected visitors for this weekend have pulled out and a player who visited last week, Colony (Ontario, Ca.) OL Joshua Andrews decided he wanted to stick with Oregon State.

"I decided that Oregon State is where I want to be," Andrews said on Thursday night. "It was mainly the relationship I had with the OSU coaching staff and how long I had known them and felt a comfort level with them.

"Washington really sold me on the program and I was all focused on going there, but it came down to the fact that I didn't really have a relationship with them because they were all new there and I didn't really have that fall back on."

Washington and Oregon State were Andrews' only two offers, but he was also receiving interest from Arizona State, Arizona, Colorado and San Diego State as well.
