Rankin still on hold

All signs pointed to Montlake after Louis Rankin, a 6-0, 190-pound running back from Stockton (Calif.) Edison came home from his official visit to Washington, but Louis isn't ready to make a decision soon. When we caught up with Rankin last night, he had one last visit date set and still no closer to making up his mind.

"I'm pretty much at the same point I was," Louis told Dawgman.com. "I'm still weighing everything out, seeing which school is the best for me. I just want to make sure I can come in and have an opportunity to play, wherever I go."

Right now, it's down to three schools for Louis - Washington, Fresno State and Boise State. He'll be visiting Boise this coming weekend. "At Washington, it's a chance for me to be exposed to a big-time school," he said. "At Fresno State and Boise State, I think I could get a chance to play right away."

At this point he still has the Huskies as a slight leader over the Bulldogs and Broncos.
